Workplace and Sustainability have found common ground in the last 5 years. As sustainable design becomes more common and prescribed in building codes there is a restorative approach emerging on how buildings, and essentially the built environment, is shifting the conversation and design focus to health and well-being. Health and well-being is becoming a prominent part of the workplace design conversation. This forum will present the important evolving topic, including what public health research has to do with office design, what the big deal is with biophilia and how furniture and finish selection relate to the WELL Building Standard and Cognitive Health.

It is approved as a Health Safety and Welfare CEU by AIA and IDCEC.
